Natasha Liu Bordizzo has cancelled her appearance at Monopoly Events, Comic-Con Liverpool.

Ahsoka Season Two is filming in the UK right now, co-star Eman Esfandi has been in the UK for an extended period ‘training’ and costume tests for the new season have also taken place for most, if not all of the characters featured in the production.

Natasha’s cancellation is claimed to be due to “a shift in her filming schedule” that seemingly doesn’t effect co-star Rosario Dawson, as solos and duos of Rosario are being offered as a replacement to those who were booked to meet Natasha as an alternative, as well as full refunds.

Natasha Liu isn’t the first big name to drop out of the bumper line up put together for Comic-Con Liverpool, Nicholas Holt cancelled his appearance, the day before Natasha and Fallout star, Walter Goggins also recently confirmed he will no longer be in attendance.

What can we gather from the cancellation?
Well, if there are no further cancellations from Ahsoka Season Two, it’s possible that Natasha will be filming scenes from the concept art where she appears to meet some kind of Ethereal character independent of any of her co-stars.

The fear is that this “schedule shift” affects co-star Rosario Dawson’s attendance or even Director, Bryce Dallas-Howard- whose husband has already cancelled due to his own alleged filming conflict.

Dawson and Dallas-Howard were announced as guests in March and April respectively, Bordizzo being the first from the production to confirm attendance, back in February.

Other Star Wars guests currently confirmed for the event include, Eman Esfandi, Hayden Christensen and Cameron Monaghan, all of these except Monaghan featured in Ahsoka Season One and presumably their schedule will be as potentially ‘shift’able as Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s, which will worry fans who have committed to signings with members of the Ahsoka cast and crew, especially as these guests are only scheduled to appear on the Saturday.

Comic-Con Liverpool is May 3rd – 4th and is run by Monopoly Events.

Saturday Tickets are SOLD OUT.
