Ahsoka, Season Two – Concept Art Teaser

I may or may not have seen a concept art teaser for Ahsoka Season Two! In this article I’m going to describe everything I may, or may not have seen…
The Teaser opens with a Clone Wars style voice over, talking about the Imperial Remnant growing in power, over images of ships and AT-AT’s in convoy on what I assume is Dathomir due to the dusty red hue.
It cuts to Sabine and Ahsoka, riding Howlers across Peridea and subsequently shows images of the heroic duo fighting the red armoured native warriors we saw Shin Hati align herself with at the end of Season One.
We are then treated to NIGHT SISTERS.
3 bald, pale women with bows, advancing down a New Republic hallway, as Officers take fire to seemingly no avail.
Our next shot is VERY quick, but it sees Sabine with her saber pointed at what appears to be a mechanical being, not too dissimilar in design from the Skara Nal we saw in The Bad Batch, or various Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor droid designs.
Sabine and Ahsoka are taking on these mechanical menaces back to back, as the voiceover highlights that our heroes are fighting a battle on two fronts, across two different Galaxies.
Thrawn’s Golden faced right-hand man, Enoch, is next up.
He’s pictured beating down New Republic Officers with a stick, the scene very much looks like it’s potentially part of the aforementioned Night Sister sequence.
A quick pan up unveils a full shot of the Chimera and is followed by a close up of the beautiful design of the Night Sister Warriors.
It’s very true to the adaptions we’ve seen in Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor and has the addition of a decorative Tusked mask that covers the Mouth and nose of the pale skinned, black eyed, bald beauty.
Yeah, I’m a Night Sister guy now- get over it.
Our next shot reads like a pastiche to Lord of The Rings- Chop, Hera and Jacen hide behind a fallen tree trunk as Enoch menacingly patrols the high ground behind them, reminiscent of the Ring Wraiths.
I’m unsure what planet this is, but the tree itself very much gives a Dagobah vibe with the vines, plant life and moss hanging from it, however I expect that this is purely inspiration and not a sign of a secret trip to Dagobah itself.
Hera is wearing a brown flight cap and outfit, somewhat more reminiscent of her appearance in the Bad Batch, so similar in fact that initially the grainy image required inspection to ensure this wasn’t a flash back to a younger Hera – however once I noticed Jacen, it was clear this shot was very much set in our heroes present.
“we return to old friends” the voice over announces, as it zooms in on a shot of the now clean shaven Ezra Bridger, who is sporting an open green flight suit and seemingly hurriedly scattering to get in to a ship as other pilots and astromechs in the hanger dart in different directions.
A quick cut to the back of Shin’s head and the camera pans to the right to reveal Huyang, standing a distance away, in front of Ahsoka’s ship protecting the door way.
Huyang stands braced, holding 4 ignited light sabers, one for each hand, in a fashion not too unlike General Grievous.
Our Clone Wars-esqe voiceover makes mention of ‘the powers of the occult’ and an image is briefly revealed of Sabine, taking a knee in front of a mysterious figure, that even after many pauses, I cannot with any certainty identify. The Scene is back lit by a bright white light that totally obscures the figure from the waist up.
If I had to guess right now, I’d say it’s an Alien, not humanoid.
I’m very excited about this mystery.
No sooner has this mysterious image arrived, it leaves.
Replaced with beautiful aerial shots of Dathomir and the Night Sister Witches in their Coven.
An unknown mechanical looking beast is flying towards Sabine.
It would be easy to mistake this beast for a ship or vehicle.
It’s face has the same correlation of eyes/lights as the much smaller mechanical beings that Ahsoka and Sabine were fighting back-to-back earlier in the teaser.
Sabine is dwarfed by this mech and is pictured unloading a round towards it but it doesn’t appear to be doing anything.
Far off in the distance on the left, a set of ruins/temple can be seen- potentially what these creatures are protecting?
Ahsoka is then seen battling one of these giants at ground level.
She is hiding behind a pillar as the creature’s 4 lit eyes are razor focused on the Torgruta.
In this shot the mech has taken a much more humanoid form, grabbing at the pillar akin to the Zillow Beast in size and stance.
Next quick flash shows us the smaller counterparts of these mechanical beings that are more similar in scale to our heroes.
While gunshots fire a figure next to Sabine is totally obscured by bright white light, it is unclear if this is Ahsoka or a completely different character.
After referring to the mechanical beings as being ‘from a dark and terrible past’ the voiceover teases us with the promise of ‘an awesome confrontation between Ahsoka Tano and the ‘fallen’ Jedi Knight, Baylan Skoll. We are placed behind Baylan for this image, who is staring out into the distance at the misty, snowy mountain top range-
assumedly he is now further along the journey we see him starting at the end of Season One.
We are treated to yet another very quick and mysterious shot.
Two figures on Dathomir, stand over what appears to be a Night Sister with short white hair, who is crawling up and out from a cavern or pool beneath the two men.
It’s very hard to make out exactly what’s going on and I don’t wish to speculate irresponsibly, but upon pausing, I did question if it was potentially Ventress being inadvertently resurrected on Dathomir?
In reality it’s probably nothing more than a generic Night Sister being raised from the dead by The Great Mother’s dark magick.
Next up some quick pans are flashed up of The Ghost/The Phantom and some TIE Fighters battling.
I’m not sure if both images are from the same battle, but the TIE image looks to be taking place on Corellia to me.
A snap shot is shown of Ahsoka leading Sabine towards a giant fallen tree, it’s stump sticking out of the ground in a peculiar way and the main body of the tree being vast and unusual in shape. It doesn’t look too dissimilar to places in other Star Wars stories that have featured potential vergences in the force…
A fun 80’s style screen wipe introduces Ahsoka, Sabine, Ezra, Hera, Huyang, and Chopper as our heroes.
We’re then treated to an image of Chopper indiscriminately firing a large automatic weapon towards an offscreen and unknown target-
the crowd, of course, go wild.
Zeb is then introduced belatedly via the same screen wipe our prior heroes were afforded and sweeping landscape images featuring the Noti and the indigenous red armoured tribe of warriors is shown.
We close out the concept art images with a shot from behind Sabine and Ahsoka, looking upon the aforementioned fallen tree, now some distance away from it. Above the tree shines a very bright sunrise/sunset that kisses the horizon softly and purposefully.
Pure speculation again, but the angle of the broken bark and shape of the fallen tree itself did lead me to question if this may potentially be a disguise for Bendu, akin to the one he adopted on Avalon.
Probably not- but that’s where my mind went!
As the logo zooms into the distance, Thrawn’s bright blue face peeps from behind an explosion in the middle of the screen, before disappearing again.
Rapturous applase is heard and the teaser ends!
I thought it was brilliant, incredibly strong for something made purely of concept art, however, when I think about the concept art from Season One of Ahsoka and how it was seamlessly adapted to screen, it’s no surprise I’m excited.
The various mysteries posed by the images in this teaser are absolutely titivating. I love when Star Wars is weird and cosmic, world between worlds, Mortis, supernatural beings, force ghosts and loth wolves-wonderful!
Filming for Ahsoka Season Two starts in the United Kingdom next week and is currently expected to be released in late 2026.
